cledonism: divination by eavesdropping. i first heard of this as a persian technique. i love listening in on strangers, but i'd worry about taking oracles from what i overhear in the places where i eavesdrop.
rhapsodomancy: divination by lines of poetry, randomly chosen. my dad's favored method was with a bible. i say 'was' not because he's dead, but because i'm not sure he does it anymore.
videomancy: divination by hitting the 'random' button on your cable TV remote. now that TV is dead, perhaps we should all try youtube videomancy. i got a locomia video, which is like if i drew scrabble letters reading "YOU ARE FEM." i know, scrabble. i know.
year walking: divination by walking into the wilderness at night on one of the important eves--christmas or new year's. i wonder if there's a way to do this in our age, when wildernesses are harder to come by.
lecanomancy: divination with a dish of water, often involving the interpretation of ripples. i once heard you should place the dish in a dark room with a candle, then use a mirror to point the candlelight at the water. the images on the water's surface are the oracles.
paper thingy: divination by...basically just a magic 8-ball you make yourself. maybe that fact gives it more divinatory power?
