shower drinks + whither a thesis?

hate manual labor (and i especially hate it in the sun), love the following shower-manicure-bedrot three-hit combo. i've had many a shower soda but never a shower boba before this afternoon. it was pretty great, though if you hate tapioca pearls, i can't imagine the experience would be improved by consuming them in the shower.
sometime i'll try a shower aloe drink. ideally, strawberry.
feeling moderately good about my academic project, but i'm bothered that i don't have a thesis. is it necessary for what is basically a catalog? i may be too humanities-pilled to do anything scholarly without a central argument. i guess it'll be obvious to my advisor if something is egregiously missing from the project proposal.
my advisor said my name for the first time yesterday in the entire year i've known him. made me realize he'd been extremely good at not letting me know he had no clue what my name was. i hope i'm an expert at that in the future, instead of saying "what was your name again?" sixty times to everyone i meet.
